THE TROPHY

Trophy France:

 

For this 13th edition (forbidden number!), the Gosset Celebris Trophy has visited a region where Champagne is particularly honored during the many festivals: the famous French Riviera!

The Gosset Celebris Trophy 2007 has awarded:

- The ‘Palace Award’: the American Bar at Monaco
- The ‘Grandes Tables Award’ : The Bastide St Antoine, Jacques Chibois’ restaurant at Grasse
- And a 'Special Award' (a new award for 2007) for Faventia-Four-Seasons at Tourette for the most impressive and well-presented Champagne wine list.

 

During the award ceremony (at Ledoyen, Paris) were also present the Hotel du Castellet (at Le Beausset), the Vista Palace (at Roquebrune Cap Martin), respectively 2nd and 3rd place in the ‘Palace’ category. And also the ‘Roches’ (at Aiguebelle), third place in the ‘Grandes Tables’ category.

The GOSSET CELEBRIS Export Trophy 2007

The first edition of the Spanish version of the Trophée Gosset CELEBRIS was held on October 2nd 2007 in Barcelona at the Hotel Florida.

The jury composed of:
- Juli Soler of El Bulli restaurant, President of the jury
- Cristino Álvarez, journalist
- Rafael Ansón, President of the “Academia Nacional de Gastronomia”
- Eduardo Bueso, journalist
- Juan Muñoz, President of the “Unión de Asociaciones Españolas de Sumilleres”
- Antonio Vergara, journalist
- Mikel Zeberio, journalist

awarded the following restaurants:
Nr 1: Ca Sento (Valencia)
Nr 2: Atrio (Extremadura)
Nr 3: Martin Berasategui (País Vasco)
