• Champagne GOSSET CELEBRIS Rosé 1998 is composed of 7 Grands Crus from The Côte des Blancs and of Pinots Noirs (Grande Vallée de la Marne and Grande Montagne de Reims)
• 61 % Chardonnay Mesnil sur Oger, Cramant, Avize, Oger
• 39% Pinot Noir (among them 7% red wine) Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay
• 1998 was an excellent year for creating a top class Rosé Champagne.
• The Chardonnays exhibit exemplary fineness. The red wines, having low acidity and a long-lasting taste.

Tasting notes:

The colour is brillant, inviting, with salmon-coloured reflexions and ultra-fine bubbles.

The bouquet is intense and balanced with notes of freshly picked summer fruits, like raspberries and black currants.

The attack is full, ample, clean and fresh.The aromas initially scented by the nose gain in intensity, with an added dimension of cranberries and wild strawberries scents. The general impression is one of smoothness, fullness and vivaciousness. The final notes linger, due to the Chardonnay’s fineness, providing a long after-taste.

Aperitif, on fish, shellfish and crustaceans or on foie gras.
