Gosset et l'art du rosé : cinq cuvées pour célébrer sept siècles de passion et de savoir-faire
Gosset and the art of rosé: five vintages to celebrate seven centuries of passion and expertise
Gosset represents 7 centuries of passion for Champagne wine and respect for know-how faithfully passed down from generation to generation. Indeed, founded in 1584 in Aÿ, Gosset is the oldest Champagne wine house, but the Gosset family was already harvesting its Aÿ vineyard as early as 1484. Thus, well before the rise of sparkling Champagne at the beginning of the 18th century, the still wines of the Gosset family already demonstrated its mastery and a deep anchoring in the Champagne terroir. Today, this heritage is still perpetuated through precise and artisanal vinification, vat by vat, wine by wine, driven by particular attention to the interaction between the wines and their lees from the production of the clear (still) wines and even before the blends and the second fermentation which gives birth to the bubbles.
It is in this spirit that the current collection of five rosé Champagne vintages is born, reflecting the singularity and creativity of Maison Gosset. Each of these vintages embodies a unique expression of the Maison's style, combining history, elegance, and the art of living.
